Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET 2020) comprises of 2 papers. Paper 1 is for primary teachers (classes I-V), whereas paper 2 is for junior level teachers (classes VI-VIII). The candidates can appear in any 1 paper or both the papers depending upon their wish.
Lets start with the discussion of important dates for UPTET 2020:
- The UPTET 2020 online application form will be available on the official web portal i.e. updeled.gov.in from November 1 – 20, 2020.
- The admit card for the candidates who submitted the application in the prescribed period of time will be issued on January 1, 2021.
- The UPTET exam will be held on January 8, 2021 after 7 days of release of admit card by the authority.
- The answer key will be released in January 2020 and the final result will be published by the authority in February 2020 through online mode only.

Step 1 – UPTET 2020 Online Registration
This is the 1st step in filling the application form. First of all the candidates need to go the official website of UPBEB which is upbasiceduboard.gov.in & enter the required details for registration such as name, email id & mobile number of the candidate.
After entering all the details in the space provided, the registration number will be sent to applicant’s registered email id & phone no. The candidates will use that registration no. to login the website.
Step 2 – Payment of Application fee
The candidates need to pay the application fee after the online registration is done by the candidate. The application fee can be paid by online or offline method. The candidates can use credit card, debit card, SBI net banking / Internet banking facility of other banks.
The applicants have to take the printout of e- challan of SBI bank in case application fee through offline mode. Check below the application fee for paper 1 & 2:
